Lizzy Kildahl is Dean of Faculty and in her fifth year teaching at SEGL. She came to the School after a stint teaching English in Northern Thailand. In addition to her work in Thailand, she has taught North African immigrants in Spain, public school kindergartners in Massachusetts, and favela activists in a Brazil; she has also coached soccer in Jordan and Guatemala. She is a graduate of Williams College where she majored in History with a focus on the Middle East. While at Williams, she served as President of the college chapter of Reclaim Childhood (which uses sports as a vehicle of empowerment for refugee girls & local women in Jordan), and studied abroad in Brazil and Portugal. She speaks Spanish, and Portuguese. Lizzy is a graduate of Riverdale Country School, an SEGL sending school, where she won the Senior Prize in Philosophy.
