Susana was trained at the L’Academie de Cuisine culinary arts program in Maryland and did her professional externship at Mio, a Puerto Rican restaurant in Washington, DC. She most recently worked for Marriott at the Discovery Channel building in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she performed a wide variety of duties, including preparing special meals, monitoring food quality, and mentoring employees. She lives in Hyattsville with her seven year-old daughter.
