Anne Jiang is an Ethics and Leadership Teaching Fellow and Residential Advisor at SEGL in Johannesburg. Prior to teaching at SEGL, she taught English in the south of France on a Fulbright grant and worked as an Associate at Keseb, an organization dedicated to advancing inclusive and resilient democracies around the world with a particular focus on Brazil, South Africa, and the United States. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College, where she studied development economics and classical voice performance. While in college, she tackled international case studies as a Madeleine K. Albright Fellow, engaged with Asian diasporic voices as Editor-in-Chief of generAsians Magazine, spoke about mental health at TEDxWellesleyCollege, and found her joy performing and traveling with the Wellesley College Choir and Chamber Singers. In her free time, she enjoys continuing her classical voice training, hiking to waterfalls, and exploring new countries. Anne is a proud graduate of SEGL in DC.
