Dr. Farshad Foroozan (SEGL in DC) is an experienced educator who has taught mathematics at the George Washington University since 2007. Prior to GWU, he taught mathematics and electrical engineering at the University of Maryland, where he received the 16th Annual Excellence in Teaching Award. He holds a BA with high honors in Mathematics from Rutgers University, an MA in Pure Mathematics from CUNY New York City, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computation from the University of Maryland, College Park.
