Kyle Freiler

Kyle Freiler is the Director of Operations and Ethics & Leadership Coordinator at SEGL in DC. Prior to SEGL, he taught English, coached cross country, advised the Global Issues club and capstone, and supervised a dormitory at Hawai'i Preparatory Academy. He is a graduate of Middlebury College, where he majored in Philosophy and English, earned each department's top prize, and studied ethics at Oxford through a research fellowship. After graduating, he spent a year teaching and tutoring at a Title I middle school in Denver through the AmeriCorps program City Year. During his time at SEGL, Kyle has served as an Education Ambassador for the Council on Foreign Relations and completed the Klingenstein Summer Institute for Early-Career Teachers at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is a graduate of Conserve School, a high school semester program in Land O'Lakes, Wisconsin.
