Mary Marsh is a Comparative Government and Politics and Ethics and Leadership Teacher at SEGL in London. Mary grew up in DC and graduated from Columbia University with departmental honors in History. In college, Mary worked as a writer and editor for the Columbia Spectator’s magazine section, taught ESOL to adult immigrants, and served as a Resident Advisor. After college, she spent two years as an analyst at a venture capital firm focused on climate technology investment, where she managed the undergraduate fellows program and produced an interview podcast with climate scholars and fiction writers. She has participated in several experiential learning programs including the Lily McKee Scholars Program at the Folger Shakespeare Library, the Kakehashi Project, and the Columbia Global Scholars Program.
